Prof. Dr. Shashikala Gurpur is an accomplished academician, passionate researcher, toastmaster, and Fulbright Scholar. She is the Director of Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Symbiosis International University. Dr Gurpur holds a Ph.D. in International Law from the University of Mysore and was also the AHRB Visiting Fellow at Edinburgh Law School, UK (2004). Dr. Gurpur’s extensive experience and dedication to legal education, gender equality, and human rights have made her a respected and influential figure in academia and beyond.
