Akriti brings 11 years of diverse experience spanning agencies, corporations, nonprofits, and small businesses. She’s collaborated with organizations like the International Center for Research on Women, United Nations Women, and Hindustan Times. With a background in Journalism and Sociology from IIMC, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Oxford University, Akriti’s expertise lies in gender-related issues. Her work, including research on ‘Gynobalization’ and ‘No woman’s land,’ reflects her deep-seated beliefs. Akriti has honed her skills in gender-integrated content creation and Communication for Development (C4D) strategies through collaborations with UN Women India, Hindustan Times, and Oxford University. She excels in building partnerships, providing advisory services, and advocating for gender issues. Her focus areas include Elimination of Violence against Women (EVAW), Women’s leadership, gender mainstreaming, Women’s economic empowerment, and contributions to peace and security efforts. Akriti is also well-versed in national youth policies, gender equality initiatives, and human rights frameworks.
